Binance will be the official partner for The Weekend’s ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ tour. This will be the first worldwide concert to incorporate web 3.0 technology. The tour is scheduled to start on July 8th and aims to promote his fourth studio album *After Hours* (2020) and his fifth studio album *Dawn FM* (2022). The tour will kick off in the USA and Canada. For this tour, Binance will collaborate with HXOUSE, an innovative incubator that fosters creativity and provides opportunities for entrepreneurs. HXOUSE will help create an exclusive NFT collection for the tour, as well as branded merchandise. Attendees will receive virtual ticket stubs, which can be redeemed for commemorative NFTs. The Weekend has been active in the NFT market since 2021, and this event marks his latest foray into the space.

As part of the partnership, Binance will contribute $2 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund, a project initiated by The Weekend earlier this year. The fund supports the efforts of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). Binance and The Weekend are also set to collaborate on additional NFTs, with 5% of the proceeds being donated to the XO Humanitarian Fund.

The Weekend’s Involvement with Crypto and NFTs

The Weekend entered the NFT scene in April 2021, launching a limited-edition collection on Nifty Gateway that raised over $2 million. This collection, known as *The Acephalous Collection*, included eight items, three of which were audio-visual works available in open collections. Four static pieces were offered through silent auctions and raffles, while the last piece featured an unreleased song by The Weekend. That unreleased track sold for over $490,000 in an auction.

In October 2021, The Weekend joined Tom Brady’s NFT platform, Autograph, and became a board member. Later, he released his own Ethereum-based NFTs via the platform. Seven NFT pieces were auctioned on OpenSea, with six featuring footage from the *Blinding Lights* music video, and the last depicting The Weekend on the cover of *Billboard*.

Additionally, The Weekend has invested in Everyrealm, a company creating virtual NFT land in the metaverse. It has also developed NFTs for platforms like The Sandbox and Decentraland.
